Terms of service

The deal, in plain words.

Last updated August 31, 2026

Preach Now is operated from Alberta, Canada. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Your account

You need an account to use Preach Now, and it is yours alone. Each pastor should have their own account rather than sharing a login. Sermons are personal: your outline, your private notes, your version history. Sharing an account mixes those together and makes it easy to overwrite someone else's work by accident. If your team needs to see a sermon, use a share link instead of your password.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private, and for what happens on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

What it costs

Preach Now is $12 per month in US dollars. If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank converts that amount and may add a foreign transaction fee, so the figure on your statement will differ from $12.

New accounts get 14 days free with no card required. If you add a card during the trial, you are not charged until the trial ends, and adding one early never shortens or extends those 14 days.

After the trial, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling deletes your account immediately, along with every sermon, series and version in it. There is no grace period and no undo, and signing up again with the same email address starts from a completely empty account.

Export anything you want to keep before you cancel. Settings will download every sermon as a Word document in a single .zip, and the confirmation dialog offers it to you as well.

We do not refund the unused part of a month. If something has gone wrong, email us and we will deal with you fairly.

If a payment fails

Nothing disappears straight away, and we tell you at every step. If a payment does not go through:

  • Days 0 to 30: full access, exactly as if you had paid. We email you when the payment fails, and again a week before access changes.
  • Days 31 to 90: the editor and Preach Mode are switched off, but every sermon you have written is still there and still downloadable as a Word document. We email you when this happens, and again two weeks before the next step.
  • After 90 days: the account and its sermons are permanently deleted.

Updating your card at any point during those 90 days restores everything immediately.

If your 14-day trial ends without a card on file, the account is deleted at that point. We email you three days beforehand.

Your sermons are yours

You keep every right to what you write. We claim no ownership of your sermons, and we do not use them to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. Preach Now has no AI writing features at all.

We access the contents of your account only when you ask us to, for example while helping with a support question you have raised.

You can export your work at any time, as a single sermon or as your whole library. Nothing is locked in.

Sharing a sermon

Turning on Share creates a link that lets anyone holding it read that sermon without signing in. You decide who receives it. Turning Share off retires the link permanently, and turning it back on creates a new one, so an old link never starts working again.

Fair use

Do not use Preach Now to break the law, to infringe someone else's copyright, or to attack the service itself. We may suspend or close an account being used that way, and we will tell you why.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work hard to keep Preach Now reliable, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we do not promise it is free of faults. Preach Now is provided as-is.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Your sermons are stored on your own device as well as our servers, and you can export them at any time. Please do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of Alberta.
